Week 7. *PLUS* a new feature??
You know what they say... Seven is heaven. And for Dave and Louis, week 7 was, indeed, week Heaven.
Here's week 7 in a fancy 3-colored list for your viewing pleasure:
Dave: 31
Louis: 31
Leslie: 24
Thomas: 18
Francis: 17
Mike: 16
Khalid: 14
Wild and wacky is what this week was. A tie for first with 31 points? That's just silly. And what's the deal with Mike? from first to second last? What's that about?
And here's the updated stats overall in the league:
1. Edmonton Eagles (Dave): 147
2. The Fobs (Mike): 139
3. 2pac (Louis): 135
4. poop (Thomas): 129
5. FOS (Francis): 128
6. The Terrorists (Khalid): 122
7. Chronic (Les): 114
33 point difference from 1st to 7th. The gap is starting to grow. But again, we've still got a retarded number of weeks to go, so don't give up hope yet.
NEW FEATURE: After every 7 week period (when the waivers reset) I'll be updating everyone on who has made the most points for each team so far.
OFFENSIVE MVPs:
poop: Joe Thornton (SJ) - 26 Points.
The Terrorists: Jaromir Jagr (NYR) - 23 Points.
Chronic: Joe Sakic (COL) - 16 Points.
The Fobs: Patrick Marleau (SJ) - 27 Points.
Edmonton Eagles: Sidney Crosby - 21 Points.
2pac: Teemu Selanne (ANA) - 27 Points.
FOS: Eric Staal (CAR) - 22 Points.
DEFENSIVE MVPs:
poop: Scott Neidermeyer (ANA) - 18 Points.
The Terrorists: Kimmo Timmonen (NSH) - 10 Points.
Chronic: Chris Pronger (ANA) - 24 Points.
The Fobs: Lubomir Visnovsky (LA) - 10 Points.
Edmonton Eagles: Tomas Kaberle (TOR) - 18 Points.
2pac: Brian McCabe (TOR) - 18 Points.
FOS: John-Michael Liles (COL) - 13 Points.
Keep in mind that these stats don't reflect their actual NHL stats, only the points you've made while you've had these fuckers on your team. A couple interesting facts: 3/7 first round picks were also the top offensive scorers on their teams. Only one MVP came from a trade (Damn you Louis).
